The Bitterroot is a long, narrow valley located near the Montana-Idaho border, about an hour south of Missoula. It’s easy to fly into Missoula’s International Airport and drive south. You can easily drive here too by taking I-90 to Missoula or catching Highway 93 from Salmon, ID. The valley is comprised of a number of small towns, including Hamilton – with about 5,000 residents.
There’s plenty to do in the Bitterroot depending on your lifestyle, interests, and hobbies. We’re known for our outdoor way of life with hiking, camping, hunting, and of course fishing. We have antique stores, breweries, golf courses, and more.
